PlusfactorSQL - An Overview
August 1 2008 saw the release of our brand new product - PlusfactorSQL, a Job Cost Accounting suite aimed specifically at, but not limited to, the construction industry. In general terms the software is ideal for almost any business involved in a "jobbing industry" - i.e. one in which a combination of labour, materials, and/or subcontractors are combined to perform "jobs".
The software is a client/server suite, designed for use on Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Server 2003 and 2008, Vista, Windows 7, and Terminal Services™ platforms. It is suitable for use on single or networked computers.
PlusfactorSQL is the latest in a line of software that grew from our first Plusfactor - a Quoting module only - for DOS, written in 1985! There is a wealth of experience behind PlusfactorSQL!
Current Users include Construction Companies, Plumbing Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Roofing Contractors, Civil Engineering Contractors, General Contractors, Marine Engineers, Stainless Steel Fabricators, Kitchen/Joinery Manufacturers, Landscaping Contractors, and Boatbuilders. A version is available for Panelbeaters with automated billing of Insurance Excesses as one of its features.
